Dr. Hisey is an Assistant Professor of Natural Resource Management in the Department of Ecology & Environmental Studies at FGCU. His research interests include private land conservation, conservation policy, and human dimensions of natural resource management. Forrest is particularly interested in how individuals, institutions, and ideas construct land-use policies, using a comparative lens to analyze how different communities and policymakers are approaching socio-ecological issues.
