Dr. Stefanie Davis Kempton is an assistant professor of journalism with a specialization in broadcast journalism. Her research focuses on the lived experiences of women media professionals and media representations of women. She has been interviewed as a featured expert in USA Today, Slate Magazine, Axios, and several local publications. Prior to academia, Kempton was an on-air correspondent in news and weather and appeared nationally on ABC News, Fox Business, the Big Ten Network, and Bloomberg TV. She is a two-time Emmy-nominated broadcast professional.
