Kane, Tori
Tori Lynn is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Florida Gulf Coast University鈥檚 Bower School of Music and the Arts, a role that draws on her experience as a professional musical theatre performer and social media manager.
Originally from a small town in Southern Illinois Tori understands the importance of fostering connection and the symbiotic relationships that can be cultivated between educational institutions and the surrounding communities. Tori graduated from Western Illinois University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, where she actively recruited for her program with social media campaigns and personal interactions, as well as performed in multiple shows each semester. Through college and post graduation, Tori has worked consistently performing at regional theaters and amusement parks, several of which as a Lead Vocalist or in a lead role. Offstage leadership positions such as Swim Lesson Coordinator, Vice-President/Events Coordinator for the University Theatre Club, and Company Manager with RWS Global have harvested the importance of collaboration for Tori. These experiences combined with her passion for music and art have equipped her with invaluable skills of creative problem-solving, empathy and determination to be constantly learning.
As a young artist and professional, Tori will spend everyday pursuing growth on every level. She is overjoyed to address the Sunshine State as her new home and looks forward to engaging with the community of Southwest Florida!
