This two-day virtual experience creates an open space for honest conversations about the fast-evolving world of credentialing and skills development. Call for Proposals

FGCU invites higher education leaders, faculty, staff, employers, researchers, and practitioners to submit proposals for presentations at our upcoming two-day virtual forum focused on advancing micro-credentials, transferable skills, and innovative credentialing ecosystems. The goal of our forum is to spark dialogues about trending topics related to innovative credentialing and learn from each other鈥檚 success.
This conference is designed to spotlight promising practices, evidence-based models, and emerging trends shaping the future of learning and work. We are particularly interested in sessions that share implementation strategies, showcase effective institutional structures, and highlight student-centered and workforce-aligned approaches.
Timeline for Proposal Submission and Committee Review
Proposal submissions open November 10, 2025 and closes January 10, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. The committee will review proposals by January 30, 2026 and send out acceptance notifications no later than February 6.
Accepted Submissions Timeline
- Presenters will need to accept by February 20, 2026
- Presenter head shots and consent forms will need to be uploaded by February 26, 2026
- Presentation materials will need to be uploaded by March 13, 2026.

Multiple speakers exploring a topic from different perspectives, moderated with audience Q&A.
Live walkthrough of a platform, tool, or model, often followed by Q&A.
Deep dive into a specific institutional approach, model, or success story.
Showcasing learner or industry partner experiences related to credentials and skills pathways.
